Project Overview
Investment in the port and logistics project through the acquisition of shares in a Vietnamese listed company, Gemadept Corporation.
Significance
• Encourage the expansion of the logistics business developed by Sumitomo and Suzuyo based in local industrial parks.
• Support Japanese companies’ entry into the overseas ports and logistics business while contribute to the streamlining and economic development of Vietnam as part of the effort to develop high quality infrastructure overseas.
