Memorandum of Cooperation with BCDA of the Philippines

On August 13, 2015, Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development ("JOIN") signed a Memorandum of Cooperation ("MOC") with Bases Conversion and Development Authority of the Republic of the Philippines ("BCDA") to cooperate in the development of the Clark Green City ("CGC") project in the northern Luzon in the Philippines.

Signing ceremony was held in the city of Manila, with the attendance of Mr. OHTA, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Mr. SINGSON, Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highway of the Republic of the Philippines.

CGC development project is to build a new flagship modern city in Clark region, and to develop the areas between northern Luzon cities and Manila with the proposed construction of a railway system. BCDA and JOIN will work together to attract investment from private businesses and conduct studies to materialize the project.

JOIN intends to be involved in the overseas urban development projects from the early stages, cooperating with host governments and related parties, to facilitate Japanese companies' infrastructure business overseas.
