Memorandum of Understanding with Urban Renaissance Agency, Japan

On May 31, 2023, Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development(“JOIN”) (headquartered in Tokyo, President & CEO: Tatsuhiko Takesada) signed a Memorandum of Understanding(“MOU”) with Urban Renaissance Agency(“UR”) (headquartered in Yokohama, Chairman: Masahiro Nakajima). The purpose of the MOU is to promote Japanese companies’ investments in the global infrastructure business.

Through mutual advice and cooperation with UR and JOIN, this MOU aims to realize a seamless support system for Japanese companies pursuing overseas urban development projects by utilizing  UR’s strength in formulating master plans for urban development and JOIN’s strength in supporting development and operation.

JOIN will continue to cooperate with other administrative agencies and so forth to support and promote business investments in the field of transportation and urban development in foreign countries by Japanese companies.
